Albert Camus's Caligula

sept. 6th - oct. 14th

Thursday–Saturday nights
& Sunday matinees

The piece, a gorgeous, provocative classic, opens our fall season. It is a tour de force of perverse humor with splashes of vulgarity, vaudevillian tendencies and, the central figure himself: Caligula; a wild, unfettered leader of Shakespearean dimension. Sound like someone we know? In a new translation by company member Chris Brandt.

Queer Monologue Night

Monday, October 1, from 7pm - 10pm.

Networking to follow.

This will be a night of exploration of viable monologues for folks all along the queer spectrum and of all genders - from existing gender neutral or gender fluid monologues to new pieces written specifically for non-binary actors.

queer fest

December 12-21

Medicine Show Theatre LAB will put on Queer Fest, a 10-day festival of plays and multi-media storytelling by queer authors exploring themes not often addressed by the mainstream community.

Queer Fest will celebrate the works of those who fit under the queer umbrella, especially aiming to include those generally left out in LGBT media—transgender and non-binary people, intersex people, and people whose sexualities fall outside of lesbian, gay, or bisexual. The festival will run 10 pieces over 40 performances.

The festival seeks to explore the experiences of queer, trans, gender nonconforming, and non-binary people.
